His kind was originally created as tools for powerful sorcerers, who would sometimes use their demons to conquer kingdoms. Zan was given to Tristyn by Gypsy, as a gift. Now, loyal to Tristyn, Zan finds himself experiencing very un-demon-like feelings for the human mage...

Desmond used to be a very bad demon, so a sorcerer put him to sleep for a few hundred years to adjust his personality. It worked, even though Tristyn woke him up a bit early. Now Desmond just wants to explore the "new world" and eat sweets. He still sleeps a lot, but at least now he wakes up occasionally. ^_^

This woman's real name is Parisi, though she took on the title of Melanthe when she was only 16. The mysterious Melanthe, a sort of pirate boss, has been in business for an astounding 200 years. How can this be, since Mel is only 23? Simple. Think "Dread Pirate Roberts" from the Princess Bride. Still don't understand? Go rent the movie!

His only human features are his addiction to cigarettes and the five o’clock shadow he gets when he doesn’t shave. His ears are a little smaller than normal Wood Elf ears, but don’t tell him that- he tends to be a little touchy about his human side. Eiron left his family once he was old enough to take care of himself, feeling like an outcast even though his family loved him as much as his younger, full-blooded half-siblings. He wanders around the world aimlessly now, using his talent for healing to help those he meets along the way.

The darling twin sisters of the Greenleaf clan, Echo and Mirage are the youngest of Pader's siblings.  They tend to think alike, talk alike, act alike, and dress alike, though Echo wears violet and Mirage prefers blue most of the time.  They're very quiet and intuitive, though they can be very mischievous, especially when it comes to playing jokes on their siblings.  Despite being the youngest, they aren't spoiled, and are usually well-behaved.  Usually.  ^_~

Madera Greenleaf

Madera is Pader's twin sister. Unlike humans, it's not unheard of for a Wood Elf to have identical twins of different genders. While in the womb, Madera and Pader were connected by a strip of flesh on their chests. They were surgically separated at birth without any complications, though both carry long scars on their chests from where they used to be joined. Even to this day, Madera and Pader are very close, and can even tell what the other is thinking. Madera is just as outgoing and flirtatious as her brother, and resembles him in a lot of ways. The only way to tell them apart is by Madera's shorter, spikier hair and obvious female attributes. ^_^

In his own way, however, he's very supportive of her and makes her happy.  His mother was a Dryad named Leafsigh, who died tragically in a forest fire just after Pader turned 200.
